About the Client:

Hillside Academy is a private Christian school in Duvall, Washingtion offering programs from preschool through 8th grade. Their STEAM based curriculum is integrated into an interdisciplinary, hands-on learning approach with a variety of specialized programs including fine arts and music. They also provide popular weeklong themed summer camp programs available to all students in the area.

What Was Needed:

The team at Hillside was looking for a new site that was easier to manage. They also wanted to incorporate collecting payments on their site for summer programs, annual auction and donations. Presenting the school calendar online that parents to subscribe to was also an important request.

Solutions Provided:

This was the second redesign that our team was hired to create for Hillside. This time we created the site in the flexible Beaver Builder theme allowed our team to create a fresh new look with a flexible layout that Hillside's team could edit and manage with ease. Custom Gravity forms were added throughout the site, many integrated with their payment system. The Summer Camp form submissions were also seamlessly dropped into a Google sheet so the team could see submissions in real time. We added The Event Calendar plugin to bring in their school calendar with the ability to add colorful images for each event and activity. We provided specific video tutorials for site editing making it easier for Hillside to pass along administrating the site to different staff members.
